DAY 14 - ended the second week with the short yet super calming Balancing Breath. I was first introduced to breathing through Meghan’s 14-day program on AloMoves, and have since fallen in love with it which I calls to my aid whenever I feel I need it. But it is so nice to do a focused and concentrated breathing exercise for 10 mins, which prepared me perfectly for bed 🥰 DAY 15 - high energy day and did Digest & Detox. Definitely deserved the 4 spices 🥵 Really felt wrung out right at my belly button, and all the feels oozed out of the two ends from my crown and my roots. I literally needed the detox physically thanks to all this summer overeating, but also metaphorically as this year has been emotionally challenging in quite many ways and I needed to learn to digest and let go all these emotions. Again loved the short breathing session to end the practice, which freshened up my (front) central channel and grounded me after an intense practice. 💚

DAY 13 - I did Earth and Spice in a sweet little one-hour window I carved out of a busy summer Saturday. But my practice today didn’t quite flow as I had hoped for, perhaps because of the heat, the humidity or the lack of movement of any intensity over the past two days. Wild thing didn’t go too wild and I felt I was panting a bit too much holding floor bow. But hey it is where my body is at today, and I have a clean conscience that my body has done its best. So I’m grateful that I moved and some circulations have happened without my knowing it 🙂

Thanks Olga for reading all my silly ramblings and cheering me on! 💕 DAY 11 and a big bump - period cramps hit me really hard and I could barely muster any energy to even get out of bed. I opted for meditation Be With What Is, which I have to admit is something I almost never do as I find meditation incredibly challenging for my crazy wandering mind. But I found solace in Meghan’s Insta post yesterday where she said not every practice has to be “perfect” or “an elation”, but we have to just accept the practice as it is, be it confusing or uncomfortable. DAY 12 and my energy came back a little - I did the gentle 7 Directions of Spine and was it yummy! Interesting I realized the meditation at the beginning of the practice I still struggled with it, but after some movements I felt much more in tune with my body in the meditation at the end, even visualizing the central column of my spine rooting down and up and my breath breezing through it. Perhaps that’s how I will approach meditation - post movements. Anyway guess I just want to say there are ups and downs in this challenge and I’m riding the wave as it comes!

DAY 9 and DAY 10 - I’m really perfecting the skills of creative and opportunistic scheduling of my day 😈 yesterday I did the short and spicy Just Core at lunchtime, and a whole hour of yummy Open Your Hammies in the evening. Today I squeezed in Somatic Sparkle before going out for lunch ✅ These days it is very hot and humid where I am, and I pretty much did all the practices drenched in sweat to the extent that I couldn’t even hold on to any part of my body 🥵 but at these times I always remind myself of what Meghan encourages us to do - focus on the internal expressions and intentions rather than the external depth, and just feel. And I still managed to reap all the calming, soothing and expansive benefits of the practices 💚

DAY 9 - I went a little too creative about my schedule today 😅 before lunch I had maybe 20 mins and I was not sure if I would have another opportunity, so I jumped at it and did Just Core (another class I always wanted to do and was it spicy!). But then in the evening a whole hour opened up and boy l wouldn’t let that go! So I came back to my mat and did Open Your Hammies. It is a very humid evening - I was drenched in sweat the whole way through which made it quite challenging but I kept focusing only on my internal expression and intentions like Meghan was encouraging us to do in the practice, and it felt like such a rewarding experience as I’m reflecting on it now. Oh and hands up in hanuman! 🥳

Thank you Olga for your sweet encouraging words as always! 💕 This challenge is certainly challenging…and I almost didn’t make it today (DAY 8) but I saw a window of opportunity last minute and jumped onto the mat and did Move More. It’s funny how I’m beginning to view the organization of my day in whole new different light because of the challenge and I’m really getting creative and opportunist to integrate it into my day. And what a contrast from the tutorial style classes I did the past two days - I just got lost in each moment of the flow today (and covered in sweat almost all the way through!) 😅

DAY 7 - a little random but sort of a continuation of Elegant Tide from yesterday, I did Breath Dance today. Two major takeaways this time around that I didn’t realize so consciously the first time I did this: (1) breath could also dance in complete stillness and it’s so magical learning to recover in stillness rather than fiddling around (to stretch out the wrist in today’s case), and (2) to truly dance with breath, you need to have a truly solid technical foundation that is completely integrated into your body awareness, which is something I think I’m improving on from this practice and also practices like Cultivation of Deliberation where Meghan breaks down things in such detail. I felt really expansive in the Wild Thing at the end, probably the most expansive I have ever achieved! Very grateful on this Sunday evening 💖

DAY 6 - did Elegant Tide, which I only did once before over a year ago, and today it felt so incredible smooth like I was surfing on one single giant never-ending wave. These side plank variations have truly become a firm favorite since training with Meghan regularly here 💚

Thank you Olga! 💖 I have to admit that on DAY 3 and 4 all I could squeeze in was some deep bellow breaths when I managed to catch a break during the day. But today (DAY 5) I came back to the curated list and did the Cultivation of Deliberation. It was so amazing to revisit the practice and relearn to move one baby step at a time focusing on the “strictly necessary” activations to reach to full blossom of a pose. And I followed it up with Sandbag Breathing, which I always wanted to do and found it was not weird at all for me! Actually very soothing and natural 🥰

DAY 2 - Started yesterday with Feel Good Flow, and today did both Open Your Shoulders and Full Spectrum Juicy Flow! They go so incredibly well together and in that order 🥰 Already felt gateways opening up in my upper back in the first practice and the juicy juice from the second practice just poured down through those gateways into all corners of my body. Wheels were extra yummy today and I did an extra round ☺️
