Commented on Feel Good Flow

I wanted to “officially” joined the 21-day challenge but I’m not too big on social network, so I am going to just try to hold myself accountable here 😌 Following Meghan’s curated list and did this on Day 1. Really like the idea of revisiting all the practices through the challenge!

It might be shorter than usual but not any less spicy! Worked out quite a sweat and felt open and rejuvenated after a long day sitting at my desk 🥰

What an epic practice! 😍 I set the intension of “softening” at the beginning and somehow it was really appropriate - I found softness even in the strongest of poses and long holds through breath and quiet focus. And my pigeon flew high and proud on both sides! This wasn’t something I could do a year ago, and it was all thanks to Metamorphosis and the journey since. I’m deeply amazed by what I could achieve with the wisest guide 😌 Thanks Meghan!!

🥵🥵🥵 I was about to give up some 30 mins in…for whatever reason it felt extra spicy today 😅 but I carried on just focusing on the moment (and not thinking what more is to come). At the end everything made sense, why each of the preparatory movements was necessary for puppy press, and I will definitely revisit with a clearer picture in my head now :) P.S. Playfulness for me is not caring about or even contemplating the outcome of my action, and just doing it with the curiosity to see what comes out of it. I like these challenging classes that are beyond my comfort zone - they “force” me to be playful!

Agree with Hannah that this class just flew by - I was so absorbed in the juicy yummy sensations from the movements when suddenly it is that giving yourself a big hug moment 😄 I liked how the class started with a strong flow and then transitioned into more chill stretches (and a bow), and I ended up feeling really renewed and revitalized. Thanks Meghan!

Finally felt more or less like myself again after the recent bout of a whole spectrum of lingering Covid symptoms and wanted some sweaty action! Continued my revisiting random Metamorphosis sessions and felt totally renewed and revitalized now 😊 Didn't know my body was craving lots and lots of side body and heart openings and I even did three rounds of wheel at the end because they just felt so good!

Haven’t moved in more than two weeks as Covid caught me while I was traveling and hit me HARD…I don’t remember ever being so sick for so long 🥺 Yesterday I finally mustered some energy to do some long stretches and today I attempted this little practice that shook my body out properly and untangled all the knots so gently and sweetly. I’m so grateful I got to do this with Meghan tonight 💖

I had my eyes on this practice all week and finally found the time today, though we are hit by a major heat wave (38 degrees at 9pm!) so the two chilies felt more like four 🥵 But I loved the unexpected transitions and yummy heart openings slipped in at the most unexpected moments. Felt so open at the end that I even attempted full Visvamitrasana and succeeded! 😁 Thanks Meghan for this burst of creativity of a class!

Continuing my streak of revisiting old classes and rediscovering the magic of Meghan…juicy, fiery and sweetly steamy! Spine-focused practices are my favorites from Meghan 🥰

Commented on Metamorphosis: Grace

16 Jun 16:26

Revisited the Like Moving through Honey practice on a unusually hot summer evening, and grace takes an extra dose of mental and physical strength! I forgot how beautiful this sequence is, particularly the stepping forward airplane variations, and I felt what grace meant for me tonight was to move slowly and intentionally and take the breaths it needs to reach full expansion of my heart. I also remember many more struggles the first time I did this practice last year, so I guess I’m slowly getting more graceful 🥰
