Revisiting this class on a late Monday evening after a very intense and almost unpleasant long work day, I’m in awe of how beautiful, raw, and powerful it is, and I couldn’t explain what a magical effect it had on my body and mind - I forgot all about my worries and anxieties, and was completely lost in the flow and breath. I felt like I had a full cleanse of my soul and my spirit was pure and free again. I’m so grateful for being able to spend this magic moment on my mat with Meghan tonight 🥰🙏🏼

Did 100km cross country skiing over the past 5 days and my body is aching all over…but what’s a better cure than a sweet little Meghan practice? I relished all the side body and heart openings that felt extra yummy today, though my sore legs did struggle quite a bit in frog jumps and pincha 😅 but I stopped the video and did them at my own pace, and it felt good after all! Can’t wait to get back to regular yoga practice again this week :)

I finally mustered the courage to do this class, or rather, to face my own fears - it is not the drop back that is intimidating, but my own expectations of how I would fare through it. I let go of everything and just took every second of the class as they came, and it was wonderful - I dare to say it was the class I enjoyed the most this year so far 🥰 I felt the strength and openness of my back body, and was so grateful for it when I lingered in bow, camel, wheel that all felt so expansive. I’m not able to do drop backs yet, but I tried and went as far down my thighs as my body allowed me - it was a whole new sensation that I’m eager to explore more! Thanks so much for the amazing class Meghan, and for the gentle encouragement and playfulness always.

Thanks Meghan for this little lecture packed with goodness! I really liked how you texturized abstract concepts such as breath and mula bandha and also gave them fluidity and freedom rather than rigidness. I’m glad I never really bought the idea of the “lock” (mostly because it didn’t feel good) and suctioning in water and ushering it up and around my body feel a lot more natural to me ☺️

Thank you Olga :) I did it again today after the Open Your Shoulders warmup ;) mostly because I didn’t quite have the courage to try the new Drop it Back class 😅 Everything felt super strong and connected to breath in the flow part of the class, and I even played around in puppy press with a block (and fell all over the place), but gosh were the last wheel variations hard! I stopped the video and did perhaps seven or eight rounds of wheel on my own…the single leg variation ultimately got steady but the single hand variation was shaky at best (I even collapse onto the mat once 😆), and one side felt significantly better than the other. Guess I’ll make this class a regular!

Woo juicy fiery class again! (after my struggle with the impossible Eka Pada Sirsasana earlier this week 😅) Loved the all sorts of side body openings in the first half and enjoyed the crows and wheels in the second half, though my stamina for some strange reason hasn’t been great these days and I felt the real struggle in the long hold of dolphin…did more pinchas on my own and managed to find some fleeting balance. Hope my stamina comes back soon! 🥵

Been looking forward to doing this practice for two weeks and finally today I did it…and was it challenging! 🥵 I was panting not long into the class, but very proud that I carried on and did my best in every single pose (and every single breath) until the very end when it was really just too uncomfortable for me to hold my leg behind the head and I repeated compass instead. Wheels felt like a pure bliss after that 😅 Will be coming back to eka pada sirsasana!

Felt lethargic despite the glorious sunshine on this beautiful spring Sunday, but have been looking forward to doing this class all week so I dragged myself to the mat anyway. I love how it started gently with a meditation and slow core/toe work (toe poses are my favorite these days…please keep having them!), and then sneakily dialed up the heat before three rounds of increasingly yummier wheels at the end. Still quite a way from puppy press but really begun to feel leaning weight into my finger tips and legs getting lighter today, and very happy that I managed the last variation of wheel (hand grabbing shin) which was the first time I was introduced to it! 🥳 Not feeling so lethargic anymore 🥰

I was really looking forward to this one as last week we didn’t get a practice class…and it was exactly what my body craved after a long-ass skiing day yesterday. So many juicy openings and a perfect balance between effort and ease with strength and stretch poses intertwined so seamlessly throughout. Wheels were extra yummy today! 🥰 Echo what Mila and Jacinta said below, it would be amazing if Meghan creates some more programmes here (not as huge as Metamorphosis but something with 5-6 classes in a coherent sweet series).

The perfect little Sunday morning pick-me-up :) Even though I’ve been taking Meghan’s classes for almost two years now (on AloMoves and here), I still found some fresh original cueing in this class which I had not heard before, esp. in the standing forward fold where for the first time I got my entire upper body touching my thighs! 🤩 Though I still need to understand how a rounded upper back helps in the twists 🤔 and my shoulders still needed additional stretching before I ventured into five rounds of wheels (added two rounds to train my stamina). All the more reasons to come back to this one :)
