Michelle Hatch Lovely Michelle! It's absolutely normal to feel some discomfort in that pose, sharp pain however should not be felt. To alleviate some of the tension, you can place a rolled blanket under your elbows or chest. Straightening your arms all the way is the first step in this posture. Once you have straight arms, you can start to work them closer and closer together until they are completely underneath your stomach. Hope that helps a little!❀️
