This adventure has been so inspiring ! The wisdom in Meghan's classes, the poésie in the flows, the challengeS in them too !.. The eye opening journaling questions... I'm very grateful for all the food for thoughts and nourishing practices.

Hi Maria, there are of course a lot of postures where we should engage our core muscles but I believe the body does it quite naturally. Now you can strenghten it with core exercices such as lying on the floor, lifting the legs up and then curling the tail bone up + lifting the shoulders up, holding and do reps of that exercice. That being said, there are some postures where your core shouldnt be "contracted" and it's more a matter of activating the bandhas. Now this can take years of practice to feel the energies being controlled as you magnetize this & that and/or push & pull other parts of the body but for exemple in Samasthitih it's not about squeezing the core, the quads, but rather about activating a conscious pressure of the feet in the ground, creating padha bandha which will turn on sensations throughout the whole body. Hope this helps :)

Thanks for sharing, it gives me courage to do it as well :)

I love what you said about self-love being a process. I'm currently creating my online program for women to grow self-confidence but at this moment I myself am struggling with my own confidence and feel overwhelmed by the imposter syndrome... On the phone yesterday my best friend said to me "you should do it be-cause you know what the process is about, and be-cause you are still cultivating it'. And now I watch this vlog and feel a big boost of trust :) thanks Meghan. And thank you for sharing this unedited version of the video that makes me feel better as a content creator 🌸 Love xx

Hi ! I took my students into that seatted wild thing tonight, a few looked confused like "what asana is that ?!" I basically "meghan-curripotasana, look her up" haha :) I really loved this flow and particularly that posture <3

Hi Meghan ! Oh yeah ! I really understand what you mean... Almost 10 years ago, I booked a retreat with my teacher Mathieu Boldron in Bali right after he completed a 300 hrs with you... His practice and teaching was compleeeetely transformed ! Everything was SO slow, SO many waves, SO many backbends, SO loooong holds... It was so hard... this whole new way of practicing, the climate... I felt like my practice was regressing. I couldn't do anything, my wrists felt more fragile than ever, couldn't breathe, couldn't find ease and felt SO overwhelmed by all my suppressed emotions rising up and wiping me out... My Bali roomate told me that "once I'll have the time to integrate, the transformation will happen". She was right. I'm so grateful for your immense positive influence on my blooming process <3
