Jacinta ❤️ I'm delighted you enjoyed all the slithery movements! You are right, it's difficult to lift the legs up the whole way when they are together. They can come apart after you lift them initially, but starting the lift-off with them together helps to recruit power for take off. Then once they are lifted, you can bring them apart and you may find it's a bit easier to get them higher ❤️ Thanks for your comments as usual! It's always lovely to hear about your experience😍 Sending big love ❤️

Mostly what I want to say, is that it's ok. Anger is ok. Sadness is ok. Your body is processing and digesting something on some level. How can you hold space for yourself to feel all the feels, allow them to express and be felt. Even if they last for a while- it's ok. That's a long answer, but it's a complex topic in a way. But overall it's really natural, and ok- even good! You are moving through the layers of your being! Thank you for your question. Big love to you. Let me know if this was helpful ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Gaia!! Thank you for your comment and question :). First off, I can totally relate. There were many times in my yoga journey that I felt really intense emotions, anger being one of them, and I found it frustrating... which would generate more anger 😂😂. We all process our emotions differently, and have unique aversions to certain emotions for various reasons. So that being said, there is not one piece of advice I can give you, but I can only speak from my experience. One thing that has helped and helps me, is to notice when I'm resisting the emotion that is present. And then to experiment- what would it feel like if I don't resist this anger or whatever it is, and I just let it be here, just like I would allow feelings of joy to be here. Another thing that has helped me process in my practice, is to literally channel the emotion into the practice. For example, if I'm feeling angry, I might press extra hard into the earth, like I'm channeling the energy of the emotion out.
