I did it again! A highly unusual first thing in the morning practice for me and craved a “heavy breathing” flow to wake me up and reopen the energy channels in my body - this couldn’t be more perfect! I feel completely awakened with new found energy to take on the Monday 💪🏼 P.S. I think every time I revisit a class, I enjoyed it more than the last time 🥰

Revisiting the Metamorphosis program and it felt amazing to move so intentionally and deliberately once in a while - I do love to get lost in a flowy practice, but it is so helpful to be reminded of the correct engagement of muscles and alignment in postures. It is like relearning something you thought you knew well but realizing there is so much to be rediscovered. Felt stronger than when I first did this class too!

Finally feeling more or less myself again after Covid caught me last week, and did this practice on my terrace in a warm summer night with new moon in the sky. It was just the perfect class for me to get back into my body again, flowy, groovy, stretchy and expansive. I was one happy puddle on my mat in shavasana :)

Covid finally caught me and have been feeling horrible the whole week, but today I felt a little more energy coming back to me and couldn’t wait to jump on the mat to do this little sweet class! It touched every inch of my bone and flesh and breathed life back into them :) Thanks Meghan!

Aww the flow might be short but not any less fiery! Loved loved the back toning at the start (always a strong opening to any class 😅), the juicy side body stretches and esp. the seated backbend where I felt so intimately and precisely the gradual unfolding of my thoracic spine with each exhale and the tiniest extending up of my entire spine with each inhale. Feeling recharged to take on the rest of my day!

I was curious about this reverse undulation from last week’s class and here we go! It was super fun…I might even like it more than the normal direction undulation 🙃 and my spine feels well oiled and slimy like an eel hahaha (might be a ghastly analogy for some but for me it’s silky and yummy 😅). Thanks Meghan!

Ohh I think side body openings might be my biggest jam these days! 💖 they feel even more cleansing than twists and more soothing than child’s pose to me…and Meghan topped it all up with some juicy back toning which has become a stellar favorite for me after training here for so long, and the last looong floor bow might have been my deepest one (or the one that brought the deepest sensations) to date. Yum!!!

Perfect little class for that “special” down week of the month 😌 I am awful at relaxing and giving myself a break, and always want to push for more, but how nice and calming it is to just take it easy and nourish my body with some yummy caring moves. I have to let out a little secret - ever since I learned the foot massage in the Metamorphosis program, I have been giving my feet a little massage after I take a shower every day. Just a quick thumb rub and a romantic finger-toe holding, but the effect has been truly profound. My feet feel healthier than ever (I could even root down the big toe and pinky toe while lifting the others up) and my balance has improved so much - they really are like two sturdy roots once planted on the mat. Can’t thank Meghan enough! 💕

Happened to have done the 2hr initiation practice from Breath is Boss workshop a couple days ago and this class was just such a lovely follow-on practice that really cemented the learnings from the workshop - let breath initiate the movement. I had never practiced with so much consciousness of my breath and it truly opened up a whole new realm of yoga (i.e. the connection of prana and asana) to me. I also really appreciated the nuances Meghan guided us to notice and feel, like in the side plank variation with a leg lifted, where I felt the contraction of the muscles to lift the leg when I did it on an exhale, but looked at it with a completely different perspective as an expansive pose with all my limbs extending and stretching in opposite directions when I did it on an inhale. It’s magical 💖 Thanks Meghan!

I never knew I could drop into shavasana THAT fast and enjoyed it THAT much 😅 It was a very challenging practice for me - starting with the galore of back exercises right off the bat which didn’t allow any slack! I almost died but it was probably what I really needed. Also the dedicated shoulder flossing session was unexpected but much appreciated 🥰 I still couldn’t do king pigeon without the strap but I genuinely felt all the little pieces (legs, shoulders and back body) are all slowly coming into place and I truly understand the role they each play now in this elusive pose. One day! Thanks Meghan and I will keep coming back to this class 😌
