Greeting from the North! 🌲🏡🌲

Hey there Bloomers! I’m Devon. I live about 8 hours beyond the last road in Yellowknife Northwest Territories, where me and my partner live a subsistence lifestyle, wildcraft, & produce traditional dryfish. Before living here I was an an agriculturalist, yoga teacher, and textile arts educator. I absolutely love living where I do, & the depth of our immersion in the boreal forest. I’m still figuring out the balance to keep a healthy connection with the yoga community, my personal practice, and marry that allllll together with our lifestyle here. It is a beautiful project under continual creation. I’m recovering from multiple miscarriages, so I’m also negotiating a conversation of grieving, of love, & of acceptance with my body. I’m truly happy to be sharing this Vow to Bloom time with you all. Finding a community here is such a blessing. I added a few photos, over on the daily chat page, as a window on our life here. ❤️
