Hi Geraldine!! I'm happy to read you enjoy this practice! Let me clarify what I mean by connecting your feet:) When one leg is forward and the other is back, as in hanumanasana, if you simply are passive in the position, the pelvis will often align on a diagonal line (in other words, not square to the top of the mat). By "connecting your feet" what I mean is that you pull your feet towards one another, and by doing so, create a muscular activation through the hamstrings and inner thighs that not only creates a more muscularly stable pose, but also can help to move the pelvis to square to the top of the mat. You can practice this action in a lunge also. With one foot forward and the other foot back, magnetize your feet towards one another constantly, and feel the activation of your legs and the squaring of your hips. I hope my response has created some clarity for you!! Love Meghan

Awe your words have really made my day much brighter! Thank you for taking the time to express here! I'm sorry to hear you are processing some difficult emotions, for sure you will grow through this! And wonderful that you chose to take your challenge to your mat to process it there. That is so wonderful. I'm sending big love through this tiny message. Love, Meghan
