hey Leila I think I started with 2/2.5kgs you want to be able to lift but feel resistance, or initially just do it with couple of cans of beans or bags of rice figure which lift feels like a lift and order from there. When whatever your lifting it becomes easy change it up. Even doing without the weight and utilising conscious activation during the movement is working your magic and building strength
First time first week daunting but you can do it by the second week you will feel so much difference already and your practice just gets stronger and stronger. And if you run it is wonderful post run workout too
